Job summary

Rocket Learning seeks a consultant to develop and review educational scripts and videos for language content in Kerala with a short, 2-month assignment that can extend by a month. The role involves creating scripts, ensuring quality pedagogy, coordinating shoots, and uploading content to the LMS while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The position requires experience in early childhood education, comfort on camera, travel for field shoots, and fluency in English plus the state language.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Early Childhood Care and Education/Education/Child Psychology and Development/Teacher Training/Social Work.
• 3-5 years of work experience in education either as a curriculum developer, teacher or on teacher training programs.
• Strong understanding of how children learn and develop in their early years.
• Comfort presenting in front of the camera and being recorded in videos.
• Willingness to travel a few days each month for field visits and educational shoots.
• Ability to adapt to the demands of a young, fast-growing organization & comfortable working with technology in a remote-work environment.
• Fluent in English and state-specific language as mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Develop 50 scripts based on a base original script.
• Review 200 pre-produced scripts for quality and pedagogy.
• Review 215 videos for production quality and accuracy in one round.
• Review 50 videos × 2 rounds for production quality and accuracy.
• Field days to support shoots of new content (20–25 days).
• Upload 275 videos on LMS platform and coordinate with internal and external teams to render and produce within timelines.
