Responsibilities

• Read content with an exceptional eye for detail to identify and eliminate errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Perform comprehensive copy editing on scientific and technical content, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and adherence to specific style guides (e.g., APA, Chicago, IEEE, client-specific guidelines).
• Improve sentence structure, clarity, flow, and conciseness without altering the author's intended meaning.
• Verify factual consistency and accuracy within the text where appropriate.
• Ensure consistency in terminology, formatting, and presentation throughout documents.
• Collaborate with authors, project managers, and other editorial staff to clarify queries and implement revisions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current linguistic trends and publishing best practices.
