AtkinsRéalis India is expanding its Landscape & Urban Design practice to work across Property, Infrastructure and Transportation globally. The role involves leading small to medium landscape design projects, drafting reports, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations.

Travel to offices and sites globally may be required. We seek candidates with a Master’s in Landscape Architecture, 6–9 years of experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture with relevant landscape design experience.
• Chartered candidates will have an added advantage.
• Minimum 6–9 years of experience in landscape architecture.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and lead small to medium landscape design and public realm projects under supervision.
• Draft technical reports and contractual documents with minimal guidance.
• Work to project programs and advise on issues affecting timely completion.
• Set design standards and parameters with senior team members.
• Review team deliverables to meet AtkinsRéalis standards and client expectations.
• Lead interdisciplinary technical coordination when required.
• Evaluate tender documents and manage tasks within time and cost.
• Assign work to graduates, BIM technicians, and admin staff.
• Use Revit, Rhino, InDesign, and related software independently and mentor juniors.
• Identify additional work opportunities within projects and travel as needed.

Overview

The Landscape & Urban Design practice in AtkinsRéalis India is currently expanding to contribute to different sectors including Property, Infrastructure & Transportation around the world. We are keen to take on board highly motivated and capable landscape architects and urban designers to shape a well-integrated team delivering projects across the globe.

Your role

• Take ownership and lead small to medium landscape design and public realm projects and work packages under the supervision of Senior Landscape Architects.
• Draft technical reports and contractual documents of acceptable technical and presentation quality with minimum guidance.
• Work to a program for the project and proactively advise senior team members of any issue affecting efficient project completion.
• Set out and agree design standards and parameters with senior team members.
• Check team members’ work and ensure deliverables meet AtkinsRéalis standards and client expectations.
• Willing to undertake and, where required, lead interdisciplinary technical coordination.
• Evaluate tender documents.
• Responsible for completion of assigned tasks within time and cost.
• Assign work to Graduate Landscape Architects/Urban Designers, BIM technicians, and administrative staff.
• Use business-related software like Revit, Rhino, InDesign, etc., independently and guide junior team members.
• Identify and follow through on additional work opportunities within projects.
• Travel to different AtkinsRéalis offices and project sites globally when required.

About you

• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputed national or international university is required.
• Bachelor’s degree holders in Landscape Architecture or Architecture will be considered if they have relevant experience in landscape design stages including design, documentation, and site implementation.
• Chartered candidates will have an added advantage.
• Minimum 6–9 years of experience in the landscape architecture field.

Technical Competency

• Strong experience in delivering landscape design/public realm projects in public or private sectors.
• Familiarity with design, tender, and construction processes; international experience (ME/APAC) is an advantage.
• Competence in design detailing and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of evolving professional standards, especially in collaborative and multidisciplinary design.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Lumion, Adobe CS5, MS Office, SketchUp, and Google Pro.
• Advanced BIM experience in landscape or infrastructure projects is a plus.
