Job summary

AtkinsRéalis India is expanding its Landscape & Urban Design practice to deliver projects across the globe. The role demands leading small to medium landscape design and public realm projects, drafting technical reports, and coordinating with senior architects.

You will travel to various AtkinsRéalis offices and sites as required. Applicants should hold a Master’s in Landscape Architecture, possess 6–9 years of experience, and be proficient in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and related software.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputed national or international university is required.
• Bachelor's degree holders in Landscape Architecture or Architecture will be considered if they have relevant experience in landscape design stages including design, documentation, and site implementation.
• Chartered candidates will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and lead small to medium landscape design and public realm projects under supervision.
• Draft technical reports and contractual documents with minimum guidance.
• Work to a project program and advise senior team of any issues affecting completion.
• Set out and agree design standards with senior team members.
• Check team deliverables meet AtkinsRéalis standards and client expectations.

Overview

The Landscape & Urban Design practice in AtkinsRéalis India is currently expanding to contribute to different sectors including Property, Infrastructure & Transportation around the world. We are keen to take on board highly motivated and capable landscape architects and urban designers to shape a well-integrated team delivering projects across the globe.

Your role

• Take ownership and lead small to medium landscape design and public realm projects and work packages under the supervision of Senior Landscape Architects.
• Draft technical reports and contractual documents of acceptable technical and presentation quality with minimum guidance.
• Work to a program for the project and proactively advise senior team members of any issue affecting efficient project completion.
• Set out and agree design standards and parameters with senior team members.
• Check team members' work and ensure deliverables meet AtkinsRéalis standards and client expectations.
• Willing to undertake and, where required, lead interdisciplinary technical coordination.
• Evaluate tender documents.
• Responsible for completion of assigned tasks within time and cost.
• Assign work to Graduate Landscape Architects/Urban Designers, BIM technicians, and administrative staff.
• Use business-related software like Revit, Rhino, InDesign, etc., independently and guide junior team members.
• Identify and follow through on additional work opportunities within projects.
• Travel to different AtkinsRéalis offices and project sites globally when required.

About you

• Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputed national or international university is required.
• Bachelor's degree holders in Landscape Architecture or Architecture will be considered if they have relevant experience in landscape design stages including design, documentation, and site implementation.

• Minimum 6–9 years of experience in the landscape architecture field.

Technical Competency

• Strong experience in delivering landscape design/public realm projects in public or private sectors.
• Familiarity with design, tender, and construction processes; international experience (ME/APAC) is an advantage.
• Competence in design detailing and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of evolving professional standards, especially in collaborative and multidisciplinary design.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Lumion, Adobe CS5, MS Office, SketchUp, and Google Pro.
• Advanced BIM experience in landscape or infrastructure projects is a plus.
