Job summary

ReNew in Bhavnagar, Gujarat seeks a Deputy Manager/Manager - Land Acquisition to lead end-to-end land acquisition for wind, solar and hybrid renewable energy projects in Gujarat. You will coordinate government liaison, due-diligence, and land negotiations to ensure timely project approvals.

The role requires 10–15 years in land acquisition with strong stakeholder management and knowledge of Gujarat procedures and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• End-to-end land acquisition, government liaison, approvals for RE projects in Gujarat.
• Identify, evaluate and acquire Government, Private, and Forest land for RE projects.
• Obtain NOCs and permissions from Revenue, Forest, Panchayat, Railway, Mining, and other departments.

Job description

Deputy Manager/Manager - Land Acquisition - Bhavnagar, Gujarat

• Responsible for end-to-end land acquisition, government liaison, statutory approvals, and stakeholder management for Wind, Solar, and Hybrid Renewable Energy projects across Gujarat.
• Identify, evaluate, and acquire Government, Private, and Forest land for RE projects.
• Conduct site identification, feasibility studies, land due diligence, title verification, and land negotiations.
• Obtain all required approvals, NOCs, permissions, and clearances from Revenue, Forest, Panchayat, Railway, Mining, and other government departments.
• Liaise with District Collectors, SDMs, Mamlatdars, Talatis, Sarpanches, and local authorities for smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Gujarat land policies, government resolutions (GRs), and regulatory requirements.
• Minimize Right of Way (ROW) issues and local-level disputes during project development and operations.
• Maintain MIS of land records, statutory payments, approvals, legal matters, and compliance timelines.
• Support Project, Legal, Asset Management, and CSR teams on land-related matters.
• Track policy developments, competitor activities, and market intelligence relevant to the RE sector.

Desired Profile
