Job Description

Position Summary: Skyroot is seeking an experienced LabVIEW SW engineer, who is familiar with best QA practice and testing tools. The QA Engineer MUST have LabVIEW knowledge and experience, so they can take full ownership of the Software QA for the automated test systems, Checkout Systems and Instrumentation. The candidate needs to be organized and highly motivated team player with strong initiative and communication skills, ability to mentor other team members and possesses the drive to deliver quality results on time in a complex, intensive and highly productive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review, analyse, and validate complex LabVIEW VIs and code to ensure functional accuracy and compliance.
  
• Create, optimize, and maintain automated test scripts in LabVIEW.
  
• Conduct code reviews, as per the NI Coding guidelines
  
• Develop test cases for the different components of the software.
  
• Improve and automate QA and testing flows.
  
• Implement QA best practices, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, and software) to resolve issue
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2+ years of software QA and testing experience is desirable
  
• Proficiency in LabVIEW programming (test automation, data acquisition, hardware interface).
  
• Familiar with Requirements Management, Configuration Management concepts source code version control, bug tracking and traceability.
  
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with hands-on involvement in at least one or more of its key phases.
  
• Experience developing with text based software like C++, C# and Python is a plus
  
• Experience with NI Analyzer and Unit test tool kit
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Self-motivated, results oriented person with a delivery focus.
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering(CSE/ECE/EEE/Instrumentation) or related technical discipline.
  

Preferred Qualifications and Skills :

• NI Certifications (CLAD/CLD/CLA) or equivalent.
  
• Experience with ALM tools is a plus.
  
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL)
