Job summary

Skyroot is seeking a LabVIEW Software QA Engineer to own software quality for automated test systems, checkout systems, and instrumentation. The role involves LabVIEW development, test automation, code reviews, and collaboration with hardware, firmware, and software teams.

The candidate will test LabVIEW VIs, develop automated test scripts, and contribute to QA processes while ensuring traceability and proper documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Software QA / Testing experience.
• Hands-on LabVIEW development and testing.
• Knowledge of SDLC, version control, bug tracking & requirements management.
• Experience with NI Analyzer and Unit Test Tool Kit.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and test LabVIEW VIs and applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using LabVIEW.
• Create test cases and improve QA/testing processes.
• Conduct code reviews as per NI Coding Guidelines.

• Maintain QA documentation, traceability, and test reports.


• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Software QA / Testing.


• Strong hands-on experience with LabVIEW.


• Knowledge of Test Automation, Data Acquisition & Hardware Interfaces.


• Understanding of SDLC, Version Control, Bug Tracking & Requirements Management.


• Experience with NI Analyzer and Unit Test Tool Kit.


• Knowledge of C++ / C# / Python is an added advantage.


• Good communication and problem-solving skills.


• B.E./B.Tech in CSE/ECE/EEE/Instrumentation or related field.

Preferred:

• NI CLAD/CLD/CLA certification.


• Experience with ALM tools and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
