Vastu Vihar Biotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a meticulous Lab Technician to support daily laboratory operations and assist scientists with experiments in a research-driven environment in India.

The ideal candidate will hold a B.Sc./M.Sc. in life sciences, possess hands-on lab experience, and demonstrate strong documentation and safety practices. You will maintain equipment, manage samples, and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Competenze

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Practical knowledge of lab procedures, sample handling, equipment operation, and laboratory documentation.
• Practical training or certification is an added advantage.

Mansioni

• Perform routine laboratory procedures, experiments, and sample analysis as per established protocols.
• Prepare, label, and maintain laboratory samples, reagents, buffers, and culture media, as applicable.
• Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, experiment logs, inventory registers, and documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, biological samples, and laboratory waste.
• Monitor laboratory consumables and reagents and coordinate replenishment when required.
• Follow laboratory safety protocols, SOPs, and applicable quality standards.
• Assist research scientists and senior laboratory staff with experimental activities and laboratory-related tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of laboratory workstations.
• Report equipment malfunctions, deviations, and safety concerns to the concerned supervisor.

About the Role:

Vastu Vihar Biotech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support daily laboratory operations, perform routine laboratory procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have practical laboratory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with research scientists and other laboratory personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory procedures, experiments, and sample analysis as per established protocols.
• Prepare, label, and maintain laboratory samples, reagents, buffers, and culture media, as applicable.
