Aza Research and Analysis LLP in Bavdhan, Pune, Maharashtra, is hiring a Lab Technician cum R&D Assistant to support proximate and analytical testing and active R&D projects in a quality-driven laboratory.

You will perform proximate analyses (moisture, ash, crude protein, fat, carbohydrate), run titrations, prepare solutions, maintain GLP-compliant records, and coordinate with QC, Production, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Proximate analysis and wet chemistry proficiency required.
• GLP knowledge and documentation/report writing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and summarize scientific literature.

Responsabilités

• Perform proximate analysis (moisture, ash, crude protein, fat, carbohydrate).
• Carry out titrations, solution preparation, standardization, and pH measurement.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment (muffle furnace, hot air oven, Kjeldahl, Soxhlet).
• Maintain notebooks, test records, and Certificates of Analysis per GLP.

About the Role:

Aza Research and Analysis LLP is hiring a Lab Technician cum R&D Assistant to join its analytical team.

You will carry out proximate and analytical testing while supporting active R&D projects, working in a quality-driven laboratory where accuracy, traceability, and timely reporting are valued as highly as the results themselves.

What You Will Do:

• Perform proximate analysis, including moisture, ash, crude protein (Kjeldahl), crude fat (Soxhlet), and carbohydrate estimation.
• Carry out titrations, solution preparation, standardization, and pH measurement with precision.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as the muffle furnace, hot air oven, and Kjeldahl and Soxhlet apparatus.
• Maintain lab notebooks, test records, sample logs, and Certificates of Analysis in accordance with GLP.
• Manage sample receipt, labelling, storage, and chain of custody. Track reagent inventory, instrument calibration schedules, and SOP compliance.
• Conduct literature surveys, support experimental trials, and assist with method validation.
• Report results and deviations promptly, and coordinate with QC, Production, and R&D teams.

What You Bring:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, with Analytical Chemistry preferred.
• Proven proficiency in proximate analysis and wet chemistry.
• Sound understanding of GLP, documentation, and report writing.
• Ability to read and summarize scientific literature.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail, ownership of timelines, and commitment to laboratory safety.
