DR.KAMAKSHI MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PVT. LTD., (Inst. Code - 381) CHENNAI is seeking a Lab Tutor/Assistant to support practical sessions for students. You will guide learners in handling instruments, follow SOPs, and maintain safety and compliance during laboratory activities.

The role involves preparing reagents, managing inventory, and assisting in assessments and events related to laboratory learning. Strong communication and technical skills are essential for success in this educational setting.

Qualifications

• B.Sc / M.Sc in the relevant discipline (e.g., Biochemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Biotechnology, etc.).
• Prior experience as a Lab Tutor / Demonstrator / Assistant in an educational or clinical setup preferred.
• Good communication and technical skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct and assist in laboratory practical sessions and demonstrations for students.
• Guide students in handling laboratory instruments and following standard operating procedures.
• Ensure laboratory safety, hygiene, and compliance with institutional and regulatory norms.
• Assist in the preparation of reagents, specimens, and experiment setups before practical sessions.
• Maintain inventory, calibration, and upkeep of laboratory equipment.
• Support faculty in academic projects, assessments, and internal practical exams.
• Maintain records of student attendance, experiment results, and lab utilization.
• Report any equipment malfunction or shortage to the Lab Incharge / HOD promptly.
• Help in organizing workshops, training sessions, and academic events related to laboratory learning.
