Job summary

Blue Star in India seeks a Lab Engineer to perform product performance testing for domestic and international markets, analyze data, and prepare reports per project plans. The role includes installation and product setup, ensuring test readiness.

You will manage lab operations, safety and maintenance, procure consumables, and coordinate with service providers. The position also involves periodic calibration, NABL/AHRI documentation, and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Product Performance Approval - Testing of New Models for Domestic and International Market as per Project Plan; Analysis of Data and Report Generation; Installation of product and product setup requirements.
• Lab Operation, Safety & Maintenance - Lab Utilization MIS; Preventive and Break down maintenance; Procurement of Consumables / Spares / Capital items; Housekeeping of lab area; Safety of lab equipment and personnel; Interaction and service finalization with service providers.
• Quality Check Program - Periodic Calibration and ILC process owner.
• Lab and Product Certification - Interaction with respective agencies and Documentation for NABL/AHRI/Satellite Certification programs.
• Testing Standards - Study of Field Failures and Lab Failure and development of new test conditions / Participate in DVVP / Understanding of Standards.
• Productivity Improvement - Regular Improvement in Lab Operation to improve Productivity & Quality of Testing by introducing/updating new Tools/software.
