We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient STEM / Robotics Lab Assistant to support the effective functioning of our STEM and Robotics Lab. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting hands‑on sessions, maintaining equipment and materials, and helping students and teachers explore concepts in science, technology, engineering, and robotics through project-based learning.
Education/Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Certification in Robotics, Coding, STEM Education, or related areas will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a STEM lab, robotics lab, makerspace, or educational institution.
- Experience working with school students will be preferred.
Additional Qualification
- Familiarity with robotics platforms such as LEGO Education, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of 3D designing and printing, sensors, electronics, and simple mechanical systems.
- Understanding of lab safety and inventory management practices.
Skills
- Ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain robotics kits and STEM equipment.
- Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills.
- Ability to assist students and teachers during practical sessions and competitions.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
