Job summary

AXIS DIRECT is seeking an experienced L3 Linux & OpenShift Administrator to manage enterprise infrastructure, focusing on RHEL, OpenShift, and automation. You will lead troubleshooting, patching, and hardening efforts while ensuring 24x7 production readiness.

The role demands hands-on expertise in RHEL, OpenShift, Ansible, and storage/backup stacks, with collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with RHEL/Linux administration in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with RHEL HA and clustering.
• Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift / OCP.
• Automation using Ansible.
• Strong security hardening and VAPT remediation.
• Patching and lifecycle management for OS.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, routing.
• Storage: SAN/VMware, backup solutions.
• Experience with production incidents and DR.
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot RHEL/Linux servers and HA/Cluster environments.
• Manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters: install, upgrade, patch, monitor.
• Provide L3 support for production incidents and RCA.
• Implement OS hardening and security patches.
• Automate administration and patching with Ansible.
• Ensure 24x7 production availability and DR readiness.
• Coordinate with Application, Network, Security, Infra teams.
• Guide L1/L2 teams and drive automation.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced L3 Linux & Red Hat OpenShift Administrator to manage and support mission-critical enterprise infrastructure, with strong expertise in Linux, RHEL, High Availability/Clustering, and OpenShift environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot RHEL/Linux servers and HA/Cluster environments.
• Manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including installation, upgrades, patching, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Provide L3 support for critical production incidents and perform RCA.
• Implement OS hardening, security patches and VAPT remediation.
• Automate administration and patching activities using Ansible.
• Manage performance, capacity, DR, failover/failback and 24x7 production support.
• Troubleshoot networking, storage, virtualization and backup-related issues.
• Coordinate with Application, Database, Network, Security and Infrastructure teams.
• Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 teams and drive automation and operational improvements.
