Air India is seeking a qualified training professional to develop and deliver load and trim programs for various aircraft types. You will ensure compliance with DGCA guidelines and align training with safety and efficiency standards across airports.
The role requires 3+ years of certified load & trim experience, strong English/Hindi communication, and knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations. The position involves network-wide scheduling and close coordination with Flight Ops and Ground Handling
Develop and deliver training programs covering aircraft load and trim procedures, ensuring trainees understand safety protocols and operational efficiencies. Stay updated with aviation regulations, designing training sessions aligned with international standards and Air India's operational needs to maintain safety and regulatory adherence. Educate on optimizing aircraft loading processes, maximizing payload capacity while maintaining balance and stability, thus contributing to smooth and efficient airport operations
Identify training needs within the organization and design relevant training programs tailored to meet operational standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality assurance activities, including audits and assessments, to enhance the effectiveness of training programs and operational quality.
Support the Chief Instructor in effectively managing departmental resources, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
Represent the training department in meetings, forums, or events as directed, providing expertise and insights on aircraft load and trim procedures.
Impart load and trim training on all aircraft type.
To maintain training record, update, plan, and schedule training requirements network wide.
Strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by DGCA from time to time.
To audit load control functions of all airports at regular intervals to ensure compliance of policy and procedure related to all aspects of safety.
Liaise with Flight Ops Engineering regarding Aircraft Induction for DOW Weights and Indices, Trim sheet approvals (Manual and Computerized), revised DOW Weights and Indices due regulatory requirement, revised configurations etc., Static Database update relevant to the fleet.
Coordinate with Ground Handling regarding training needs vis--vis feasibility and applicability with respect to management policies.
Work closely with airport and station management for coordinated ground operations.
Act as load control SME in cross-functional projects and regulatory discussions. Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time totime as a standalone project or regular work.
