Description:
The ideal candidate will evaluate and assess systems to ensure they are operating effectively. Based on assessments, this individual will harness collected knowledge and make adjustments to existing systems.

Skills/Requirements:

1. Strong understanding and knowledge of Linux OS and Software.
2. Knowledge in Windows system administration will be an added advantage for the position.
3. Good knowledge in the installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of OS, Software, and Hardware.
4. Good knowledge of installation and configuration of networking devices and hardware, including routers, switches, and load balancers.
5. Knowledge of LAN, Wireless, WAN, Routing, and Networking.
6. Exposure in Windows and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) Server Administration.
7. Good knowledge of networking protocols.
8. Basic knowledge in any of the cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
9. Knowledge in Hosting control panel (cPanel).
10. Excellent knowledge of Security systems (Firewall, IPSec).
11. Scripting – Bash/Shell.

Certifications: MCSE, RHCE, RHCT, CCNA, CCNP are added advantages.

Maintain system efficiency, ensure system design allows all components to work together properly, and make recommendations for upgrades. Evaluate and modify system performance.

Good communication and coordination skills are essential. Should be a team player with a good attitude. Troubleshooting and multitasking skills are also required.
