Job summary

Umanist Staffing LLC is seeking a senior Supply Chain Planning Expert in India with 9+ years of experience. You will act as a functional SME for Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro and SAP APO/PPDS, leading design, workshops, and end-to-end solution delivery across Kinaxis and SAP planning modules.

You will work with global teams from multiple regions to translate business needs into scalable, production-ready solutions, conduct testing, and drive adoption and training in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 9 years of overall experience in Supply Chain Planning / IT.
• Hands-on Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro, SAP APO, or SAP PPDS.
• At least 3 years of Kinaxis hands-on experience.
• Strong expertise in Supply Planning and S&OP.
• Experience in IT Supply Chain system design and implementation.
• Ability to translate requirements into user stories / specs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Supply Chain Planning SME for Kinaxis and SAP planning.
• Design and implement IT supply chain solutions: Demand, Supply, S&OP, Capacity, Order Fulfilment, Inventory.
• Lead business requirement workshops and translate into user stories and specs.
• Collaborate with IT/development teams for Kinaxis Maestro / RapidResponse.
• Validate solutions, support UAT and deployment, and provide training.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Expert with strong hands-on expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro, SAP APO, or SAP PPDS to join our global supply chain implementation team.

The candidate will act as a functional and process SME, supporting the design and implementation of supply chain planning solutions, translating business requirements into functional solutions, and working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Supply Chain Planning SME / Process Expert for Kinaxis and SAP supply chain planning implementations.

• Design and implement IT supply chain solutions covering:

• Demand Planning

• Supply Planning

• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

• Capacity Planning

• Order Fulfilment

• Inventory Management

• Lead customer business requirement discovery and deep-dive workshops.

• Analyse business processes and translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and solution designs.

• Work closely with IT/development teams to explain requirements and support development in Kinaxis Maestro / RapidResponse.

• Review and validate developed solutions, conduct functional testing, and support UAT and deployment.

• Configure, implement, test, and deploy Kinaxis planning solutions across relevant modules.

• Provide Key User training, functional knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support.

• Identify gaps between standard functionality and business requirements and recommend creative, scalable, and best-practice solutions.

• Support end-to-end SDLC activities, including requirement gathering, process design, functional specifications, test planning, testing, UAT, training, deployment, and release support.

• Collaborate with global implementation teams, business stakeholders, key users, and technical teams across different regions.

• Maintain strong relationships with business users and ensure effective adoption of supply chain planning solutions.

• Participate in solution reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

• Work effectively in a global and cross-cultural environment.

Mandatory Skills

• 9 years of overall experience in Supply Chain Planning / Supply Chain IT.

• Strong hands-on experience in Kinaxis RapidResponse / Kinaxis Maestro , SAP APO , or SAP PPDS.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro.

• Strong expertise in Supply Planning and S&OP.

• Good understanding of one or more of the following:

• Demand Planning

• Supply Planning

• S&OP

• Order Fulfilment

• Capacity Planning

• Inventory Management

• Experience in IT Supply Chain system design and implementation.

• Strong ability to conduct business requirement workshops and convert requirements into user stories / functional specifications.

• Experience working with IT/development teams for solution development, testing, and deployment.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and implementation lifecycle.

• Experience in UAT, functional testing, user training, deployment, and production support.

• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work effectively with global teams and cross-cultural stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP APO — DP / SNP / PPDS.

• Experience with SAP IBP.

• Experience with SAP PPDS.

• Experience integrating Kinaxis with SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA.

• Exposure to end-to-end SAP Supply Chain Planning processes.

• Experience working in large-scale global Kinaxis / SAP implementation programs.

Education

BE / BTech / MCA / MTech or equivalent qualification.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a senior Supply Chain Planning functional expert who can independently engage with business stakeholders, understand complex planning processes, translate requirements into solutions, and work with technical teams to deliver Kinaxis Maestro / RapidResponse or SAP APO / PPDS solutions.

Priority will be given to candidates with strong Kinaxis experience combined with SAP APO / PPDS / IBP exposure.
