Job summary

Ford in Chennai seeks a Functional / Data expert to support SPCPS Kinaxis Rapid Response. You will drive inbound data loads from multiple sources, validate data and enable Sales to author demand and capacity in SPCPS Kinaxis.

You will collaborate with regional MP&L and Sales teams, diagnose incidents with IT, and help implement functional enhancements while ensuring data quality and timely governance across time zones.

Qualifications

• Understanding of data, planning parameters, and business logic used in demand planning and capacity processes.
• Strong Excel-based analysis and reporting through visualization.
• Knowledge of SPCPS Kinaxis and Rapid Response.
• Process adherence and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound data load from OVS, SAMIS, MASTER, SMART and OMS SOB into SPCPS Kinaxis.
• Check data robustness to support seamless SPP authoring by Sales team in SPCPS Kinaxis.
• Collaborate with regional MP&L and Sales planning to author demand/capacity in SPCPS Kinaxis.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents with Kinaxis with IT teams.
• Track Kinaxis incident tickets for quicker resolution.
• Document and implement SPCPS Kinaxis functional enhancements.
• Coordinate with PDO / Codification / IT to pull new entities into SPCPS Kinaxis.
• Support testing in EDU and QA environments to avoid post-implementation issues.
• Escalate defects or enhancement requests to leadership.
• Attend Regional/Governance/Approval meetings.
• Present defects/enhancements requests to weekly SPCPS BPR for approval.
• Create workbooks, worksheets, alerts, scheduled tasks, scorecards, and dashboards in Rapid Response.
• Provide creative solutions to complex business problems while following best practices.
• Collaborate with Kinaxis Solution Architect to design business processes leveraging RapidResponse capabilities.

Job description

The candidate need to support the SPCPS Business Manager as a Functional / Data expert using Kinaxis Rapid Response and be responsible to deliver the following:

• Drive and co-ordinate month beginning Inbound integration / data load activities from OVS, SAMIS, MASTER, SMART & OMS SOB into SPCPS Kinaxis.


• Check and verify data robustness to support seamless SPP authoring by Sales team in SPCPS Kinaxis.


• Work with regional MP&L & Sales planning team to help author demand / capacity in SPCPS Kinaxis


• Interact with technical, data & IT team members to diagnose and resolve incidents in Kinaxis


• Keep track of SPCPS Kinaxis incident tickets for quicker resolution without affecting business.


• Interact with business / IT to document, follow and implement SPCPS Kinaxis functional enhancements


• Coordinate with the PDO / Codification / IT teams to pull new entities into SPCPS Kinaxis


• Support on testing functional enhancements in EDU and QA environment to avoid issues post implementation.


• Bring issues which require escalation/help to the leadership team for support.


• Regional/Goverance/Approval meetings


• Bring defects / enahancements request to weekly SPCPS BPR for approval


• Creat workbooks, worksheets, alerts, schedule task, scorecards, automation chain and dashboards in Rapid response


• Provide creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices;


• Work closely with Kinaxis Solution Architect to develop a business process design that leverages RapidResponse capabilities; Providing high levels of customer service.
