Job summary

HARMAN Bengaluru seeks an experienced Linux kernel engineer to join our embedded teams. You will work on Linux kernel, drivers and embedded systems for infotainment and connected devices. 6+ years of hands-on experience is expected, including driver porting and kernel crash analysis.

Exposure to hypervisor concepts is a plus. This onsite role in Bengaluru offers opportunities to impact automotive and enterprise ecosystems with innovative hardware-software integration.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux Kernel, drivers and Linux embedded systems.
• Excellent understanding of Linux internals, realtime Linux, RT porting and Android Linux kernel.
• Hands-on knowledge on Linux driver porting (UFS, filesystem, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, display).
• Experience in analyzing and fixing kernel crashes and open-source development.
• Knowledge on hypervisor systems (good to have).

Linux Kernel expertise with minimum 6 years of experience needed. (Preferable to have Infotainment domain Understanding.)
