Toddle, an AI-powered teaching platform for K–12, is hiring a Junior Visual UI Designer in Bengaluru. You will help create thoughtful, consistent interfaces, work with product designers and engineers, and contribute to the design system.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience, are proficient in Figma (Auto Layout, components, variants), understand responsive design, and know SVG/HTML/CSS basics. This is an early-career role with growth opportunities and flexible work options.

Toddle is an AI-powered teaching and learning platform for K–12 schools. Built by educators, for educators, it is used by over 200,000 educators across 2,500+ schools in 100+ countries.

Teachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices, so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students.

First, Toddle brings the entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place . Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights.

Second , every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered. Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences.

Third, Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem. The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

Design is one of Toddle’s core competencies. As a Junior Visual UI Designer, you will help create thoughtful, consistent, and accessible experiences across our products. You will work closely with product designers, engineers, and product managers to improve our design system, develop reusable components, create a cohesive icon language and ensure that every interface feels polished and distinctly Toddle.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career designer who cares deeply about visual craft, enjoys bringing order to complexity, and wants to learn how a design system supports products at scale.

Is this someone who looks like you?

• Has 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, academic projects, and freelance work count
• Is proficient in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, variables, vector tools, and prototyping
• Understands responsive design, accessibility, user flows, and developer handoff; familiarity with SVG, HTML, CSS, or motion tools is a plus

Within the first three months, you will

• Understand Toddle’s products, users, and design principles.
• Get to know the processes, tools, and systems our design team uses
• Become familiar with our design system, interaction patterns, and iconography
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with product and engineering teams
• Audit existing components, states, interactions, and icons and contribute your first improvements

Within six months, you will

• Independently design and document a set of components, interactions, or icons
• Create prototypes that clearly communicate behaviours and edge cases
• Partner with engineers to take designs from concept through implementation
• Help product teams apply the design system consistently

Within twelve months, you will

• Own selected components, interaction patterns, or icon sets
• Proactively identify inconsistencies and recommend scalable solutions
• Advocate for usability, accessibility, visual quality, and consistency across Toddle
