Job description

We are looking for a Junior Software Development Engineer (SDE) who has a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving, and core software engineering concepts. This role is designed for fresh graduates and early-career developers who are eager to build scalable, efficient, and real-world applications.

As a Junior SDE, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software systems. You will work closely with senior developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into high-quality code. Your day-to-day work will involve solving coding problems, optimizing performance, debugging issues, and contributing to both backend and frontend components of applications.

A key part of this role is the ability to think logically and approach problems in a structured way. You should be comfortable working with data structures and algorithms (DSA) to design efficient solutions, as well as applying programming fundamentals and object-oriented principles to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.

You will also be expected to have a basic understanding of databases and queries, including how data is stored, retrieved, and manipulated in real-world applications. Knowledge of APIs, system design basics, and how different components of a system interact will help you succeed in building and scaling applications.

This role strongly aligns with skills tested in technical assessments and coding contests, such as problem-solving, logical reasoning, and real-world scenario-based coding challenges. Candidates who have practiced coding problems, participated in contests, or worked on projects will have an added advantage.
