Job summary

Tracks & Towers is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS) with substantial experience in Railway Projects to join the Raichur team. The role focuses on BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, estimates, and detailed rate analysis for railway construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering diploma or degree and 4–6 years of QS experience, including at least 2 years in railway projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Civil Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of overall experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Railway Projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, Billing, Estimation, Quantity Take-off and Rate Analysis.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel; AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
• Candidates with infrastructure/railway construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ, quantity take-offs, estimates and rate analysis.
• Handle measurements, RA Bills, client billing and subcontractor billing.
• Verify quantities as per drawings, BOQ and site execution.
• Prepare quantity reconciliation and variation statements.
• Coordinate with Site, Planning, Execution and Billing teams.
• Monitor project quantities, extra items and deviations.
• Maintain proper QS and billing documentation.
