Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Junior Project Manager to assist PMs in scheduling and tool deployment, ensuring milestones are met and resources are aligned. You will train teams in mature PM practices, support L1/L2 scheduling, and coordinate with engineering and operations to maintain project timelines.

You will also manage customer communications, update stakeholders on project progress, and help prepare reports for governance bodies. This role offers opportunities in a global automotive tech leader.

Qualifications

• Support PMs and PTMs to establish mature PM practices (e.g. L1/L2 scheduling).

We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.**Assist the Project Managers or the Site Project Manager/Director in order to ensure scheduling and scheduling tool deployment, such as:*** Manage OEM/OES P0/P10 or simple P1 Projects (Components with mature technology, ...)* Prepare decision making process for relevant committee and challenge his project team readiness* Train, coach and support PMs and PTMs to establish mature PM practices (e.g. Scheduling activity (L1 and L2))* Deploy L1/L2 best practices or Group Templates / standards included in PMO training* Ensure that L1/L2 are supported by appropriate resources / competences to meet plan done by team* Ensure robust link between L1/L2 function to avoid coordination issue or missing information to reach milestones* Support operational teams and ensure follow-up and resolution of identified improvement on schedules* Support operational teams to set up scheduling routine review within current Project reviews* Check and validate Project Team Members’ activities and proposes timing scenario to achieve milestones* Escalate gaps versus targets on above tasks to Department QRQC or PA to get PSC support if Project team is not able to tackle issues at their level* Must be able to support link with resources management functionalities* must comply and deploy action plan to meet PMO community objectives in phase with Group strategy ensuring reporting & target achievement **Manage communication with Customers on Project development progress*** Keep client(s) updated on Project progress.* Prepare/validate reports on Project development progress to PSC and to all Governance stages when required* Manage customer relationship (local) and coordinate communication within his team* Ensure management of Escalation if any**Promote Valeo Values, Culture and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) within the System/ Project teams and control their application*** Respect Valeo Code of ethics* Respect health, safety and environment charts and requirements* Ensure Project (System or not) development in compliance with CLEAN and other Valeo standards**Job:**Junior Project Manager**Organization:**RO/PL Projects**Schedule:**Full time**Employee Status:**Regular**Job Type:**Permanent contract**Job Posting Date:**2026-08-07*Join Us !
