Job summary

Valeo North America Inc. in Chennai seeks a Junior Project Manager to support project managers by ensuring scheduling deployment and coordinating PM activities across teams.

You will train PMs, deploy PMO standards, and ensure resources align to milestones while maintaining client communications and reporting to governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Assist the Project Managers or the Site Project Manager/Director in order to ensure scheduling and scheduling tool deployment.
• Train, coach and support PMs and PTMs to establish mature PM practices.
• Promote Valeo Values, Culture and Standards within the System/ Project teams and control their application.

Responsibilities

• Manage OEM/OES P0/P10 or simple P1 Projects and prepare decision making processes for relevant committees.
• Deploy L1/L2 best practices or Group Templates / standards included in PMO training.
• Ensure that L1/L2 are supported by appropriate resources to meet the plan and milestones.
• Escalate gaps versus targets to PSC and obtain PSC support if needed.
• Manage communication with customers on project development progress and prepare reports for PSC and governance.
