Job summary

Bright Money in Bengaluru is seeking a Junior Motion Graphics Designer with 1–2 years of experience to create motion graphics and video content that explains product features and supports brand campaigns.

You will collaborate with the team, grow cross-functional skills, and help evolve Bright’s visual storytelling while learning AI-assisted creative workflows in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Portfolio or samples of creative projects (student work, freelance, or personal projects).
• Basic knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma).
• Curiosity to learn 3D animation tools (Blender is a plus).
• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in exploring AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating motion graphics-based videos to explain product features and brand campaigns.
• Support growth and brand team by contributing to assets like brand videos and social visuals.
• Work with storyboards and translate ideas into animation and design.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to understand briefs and realize visuals.
• Learn Bright’s brand identity and evolve it through animated storytelling.

Bright Money is a Consumer FinTech for middle-income consumers. It brings together SaaS products to help consumers build credit, manage their debt, and get access to suitable loans and credit cards. These are the major financial needs of middle-income consumers living paycheck-to-paycheck.

Bright has launched an AI money assistant and AI agentic UX flows for access to credit. It will be the first AI-driven Consumer FinTech for middle-income consumers.

Bright was founded in 2019 by a founding team from McKinsey’s Banking Practice (Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava) and InMobi Data Scientists (Varun Modi and Avi Patchava). The core team is ex-InMobi Engineering and Data Sciences, recently joined by senior leaders from McKinsey. What is the team & role about?

We are looking for a creative and curious Junior Motion Graphics Designer with 1–2 years of professional experience in motion graphics to join our team at Bright. You’ll work on motion graphics and video content that bring stories to life and support our mission to make personal finance smarter and more accessible. You’ll contribute to real projects, collaborate with the team, and grow your skills while creating work that has a meaningful impact.

• You will build the cross-functional skills to one day become a Start-up Founder, building your own company.
• You will build advanced skills in AI and Finance – trained by Tech founders who have this expertise.
• You will build a deep end-to-end understanding of building a
• customer-focused financial product from scratch.
• Complete ownership of the motion/video design and a chance to conceptualise and implement your solutions

What you will do?

• Assist in creating motion graphics-based videos to explain product features, tutorials, and brand campaigns.
• Support the growth & brand team by contributing to assets such as brand videos, website visuals, and social media content.
• Work with storyboards and contribute ideas to bring them to life through animation and design.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to understand briefs and translate them into engaging visuals.
• Learn how to apply Bright’s brand identity and evolve it through animated storytelling.

Ideal candidate profile looks like?

Experience & Background:

• A portfolio or samples of creative projects (can include student work, freelance, or personal projects).
• Basic knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma).
• Curiosity to learn 3D animation tools (Blender is a plus).
• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in exploring AI-assisted creative workflows.
• A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and storytelling.
• Willingness to research trends, experiment with ideas, and take feedback.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
