Job summary

Naukripay group in Delhi, India, seeks a Merchandiser to drive sales through effective point-of-purchase and shelf management, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time, quantity, and price.

You will plan merchandising strategies, analyze sales data, collaborate with buyers and suppliers, display products to maximise interest, and forecast profits while maintaining stock and budget discipline.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in merchandising.
• Creative with experience in identifying target audiences and campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
• Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers.
• BS degree in Marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
• Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
• Remain up to date with industry’s best practices.
