Job summary

Studio Redefine, an interior design studio based in Mumbai, seeks a Junior Interior Designer to join our Kandivali East studio. You will work across design and execution stages, developing concepts, space plans and material palettes, and coordinating with vendors and external visualisers to ensure accurate renders and on-site execution.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience, a related degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD along with a good grasp of materials, FF&E and 3D workflows.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience in interior design. Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in interior design and space planning, with the ability to translate concepts into practical layouts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, understanding of construction drawings, interior detailing and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture and FF&E, including selection, sourcing and specification.
• Basic understanding of 3D visualisation and rendering workflows, with the ability to brief and review work produced by external visualisers.
• Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace and presentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills with contractors, vendors, consultants and external collaborators.
• Proactive attitude, strong aesthetic judgement, openness to feedback and willingness to learn across design and site execution.

Responsibilities

Job Description - As a Junior Interior Designer, you will work across both the design and execution stages of interior projects, gaining hands-on exposure to the complete project process.

Your responsibilities will include:
