Job summary

Socxo Pte. Limited is looking for a PHP developer to build and maintain server-side applications using PHP and Laravel for workflows and integrations with business, financial, and e-commerce apps.

You will design MySQL schemas, implement REST APIs with OAuth/JWT, and deploy on AWS. The role involves collaborating with a team to deliver robust software and integrate billing and payment gateways as required.

Qualifications

• Experience developing server-side web applications with PHP or Laravel.
• Design and implement MySQL database schemas.
• Integrate front-end and back-end components for seamless UX.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs for inter-component communication.
• Implement authentication/authorization with OAuth and JWT.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.

We are seeking a PHP developer who is passionate about building high-quality apps for workflow applications and integrations with business, financial, and e-commerce apps.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a server-side web application using PHP or the Laravel framework.
• Design and implement database schemas using MySQL.
• Integrate front-end and back-end components to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs for effective communication between different components of the application.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth and JWT for secure access control.
• Deploy and manage the developed web applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Integrate billing, e-commerce functionality, payment gateways, and third-party integrations for business requirements.

Mandatory skills

• Experience with Vue.js or React.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Experience working with REST API, OAuth, and JWT.
• Knowledge of AWS services for web application deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Added advantage: understanding/experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce or Shopify and payment gateway integrations such as Stripe.

Location: Coimbatore, with work from home for the first 3-4 months before moving to work from office.
