Tech7 Phyll in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer skilled in Laravel, React, and AWS to build and scale our ecommerce platform. You will own backend services, frontend experiences, third-party integrations, and cloud infrastructure, delivering secure, high-performance applications across development, staging, and production environments.

This hands-on role emphasizes DevOps, CI/CD, robust testing, and collaboration with product, design, QA, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Laravel and PHP 8+.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Extensive experience with Eloquent ORM, database design, migrations, and query optimization.

Job Role: Senior Full Stack Developer (Laravel + Devops)

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Laravel, React, and AWS to build and scale the technology powering our ecommerce platform. You'll work across the entire stack, developing high-performance backend services, building modern frontend experiences, integrating third-party services, and managing cloud infrastructure and deployments.

This is a hands-on engineering role with end-to-end ownership. You'll build features that directly impact customer experience and business growth while ensuring our applications remain secure, scalable, and highly available. You'll also take ownership of DevOps practices, deployment pipelines, and AWS infrastructure to support reliable releases across development, staging, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Laravel (PHP 8+).
• Build and optimize core ecommerce modules including product catalog, cart, checkout, pricing, promotions, inventory, order management, and customer accounts.
• Develop secure integrations with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay), shipping providers, tax systems, ERP platforms, and marketing tools.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB queries for high-performance applications.
• Implement caching, queues, background jobs, and event-driven processing using Redis and Laravel Horizon.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with comprehensive unit and feature tests using PHPUnit or Pest.

Frontend Development

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable UI components and integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and application responsiveness.

Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure

• Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2/Lightsail, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Load Balancers, and related services.
• Configure and maintain Linux servers, Nginx, PHP-FPM, Supervisor, Cron jobs, SSL certificates, and production environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management.
• Ensure zero-downtime deployments, rollback readiness, environment consistency, infrastructure health, and application availability.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve system reliability and scalability.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Mentor junior developers, establish engineering best practices, and contribute to improving development standards.
• Drive continuous improvements in performance, security, maintainability, and development processes.
