Job summary

BookMyMentor is looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to work on developing product features from backend APIs to user interfaces. You will collaborate with senior engineers and participate in building customer-facing applications.

As a Junior Full Stack Engineer at Zenskar, you will work on product features end-to-end - from the data model to the pixel on the screen.You will work alongside senior engineers, learn to bridge engineering and product, and contribute to translating complex business workflows into interfaces that enterprise teams actually use. Requirements

Must Have

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience, with meaningful work on both frontend and backend
• CS degree or equivalent - solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OS, and networking
• Can describe problems they have worked on - the what, the how, and what they learned
• Backend foundation - has worked on APIs, services, or data models; eager to grow ownership and depth
• Frontend foundation - React (or equivalent), basic component architecture, state management; can contribute meaningfully to UI work
• Curious about product - you notice when something feels off in a UI

Good to Have

• Exposure to performance considerations on frontend or backend
• Interest in design and UX - wants to ship things that look and feel good
• B2B SaaS / enterprise software exposure
• Early-stage startup experience - comfortable in fast-moving environments
• Cloud platform basics (AWS or similar)
• Testing awareness - familiarity with unit tests or e2e testing
• AI-assisted development - uses tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot
• Interest in financial systems, billing platforms, or fintech
