Job summary

TeamLease is seeking a frontend developer to implement UI components from design mocks, build and maintain React-based applications, and integrate with backend services in an Agile team.

The role emphasizes cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and collaboration with UI/UX designers and product managers. Familiarity with REST APIs, JWT/OAuth, and testing is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on frontend development experience.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with React (hooks, Redux/Context) or Angular/Vue.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and performance best practices.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth).

Responsibilities

Preferred (but not mandatory)

• TypeScript, Next.js/Nuxt.js, GraphQL, CSS-inJS (styledcomponents/emotion).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
