Job summary

Meyer Organics in Bengaluru is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to ensure CGMP compliance across all packing stages. You will supervise BLISTER-1 and STRIP-2 lines, coordinate preventive maintenance with operators, and ensure accurate labeling and logging per BMR/BPR.

The role requires B.Sc/M.Sc with 1–4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical packing environment. You will uphold safety, cleanliness, and GMP standards, while training contract workers and maintaining high productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• CGMP adherence at all stages of packing line
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline on BLISTER-1 & STRIP-2 lines
• Coordinate with operators for preventive maintenance as per schedule
• Ensure materials have proper status labels and quantities, as per BPR
• Record packing activities in logs and adherence to BMR/BPR

Responsibilities

• Adherence and compliance of CGMP at all stages of packing line and its operation
• Maintenance of cleanliness and discipline in Line-01 & Line-08 (BLISTER-1 & STRIP-2 MACHINE)
• Coordinate with operator to carry out preventive maintenance in packing lines as per the schedule
• Ensure materials bear status labels and quantities match per BPR
• Carry out packing logs and records as per BMR/BPR
• Supervise production for productivity with quality
• Ensure safety of product and personnel
• Attend training sessions as required by training dept.
• Perform duties assigned by superiors from time to time
• Dispose of containers after labeling is defaced
• Responsible for batch packing activity
• Complete BPR and Reconciliation
• Return good packing material to stores after packing
• Move finished goods to bonded stock rooms after release
• Monitor contract workers allocation
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the department
• Follow company policies and train contract workers
• Follow ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 procedures and daily entries
• Follow good manufacturing practices
• Handle with maximum care
• Undertake other duties as assigned by HOD

Role & responsibilities

3. To Co-ordinate with operator to carry out preventive maintenance in packing lines as per the schedule
4. Ensure that materials bears status labels the quantities (as per BPR) should tally to be checked before packing line starts.
5. Carrying & recording of packing of lines as per BMR/BPR & log sheets, log books
6. Effective supervision & implementation of system to ensure better productivity with quality
7. To take appropriation to ensure the safety of product & personnel.
8. To attend training classes as & when called by training dept.
9. To carry out the duties assigned by the superiors time to time.
10. To ensure the disposal of containers after defacing of passed & approved labels.
11. Responsible for the batch packing activity.
12. Responsibility of completing the BPR and Reconciliation.
13. Responsible for returning good packing material to stores after complete packing.
14. Transferring finished goods the bonded stock rooms after release as per the batch yield.
15. To observe and maintain the contract workers job allocation.
16. Responsible for good housekeeping & safety of the entire department.
17. To follow the company objectives & policies and train contract Workers.
18. To follow the procedures of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 and recording daily entries.
