Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking an Upstream & Downstream Process Specialist for our biosimilar manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. Ideal candidates hold Life Science degrees with 0–2 years of experience in cell culture and downstream/upstream processing.

The role involves handling mammalian cell culture, SOPs, QMS, and equipment qualification, with exposure to chromatography and filtration technologies.

Qualifications

• Life science graduates with 0–2 years of experience.
• Exposure to Upstream and Downstream mammalian/cell culture processes required.
• Knowledge of SOPs, QMS, qualification and validation of equipment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute Upstream and Downstream processes for mammalian/cell culture systems.
• Handle lab equipment and process steps including SOPs and qualification activities.
• Assist in QRM, change control, SOP preparation, and vendor/CFT follow-up for downstream equipment.

Departments are as follows:

Upstream

• Responsible forUpstream ProcessforMammalian/Cell culture.
• Should have exposure on variousCell Culture techniques such as Single use Bioreactors, shake flasks and perfusion technology.
• Lab equipment handling such microscope, cell counter, osmometer and biochemical analyzer.
• SOP preparation ,QMS, Qualification and validation of equipmentin the initial stage and then responsible for Batch manufacturing.

Downstream

• Responsible forDownstream ProcessforMammalian/Cell culture.
• Should have exposure toProtein purification Techniques like chromatography, TFF and virus filtration.
• Handling of Chromatography systems (Cytiva/Sartorius).
• Performed Column Packing/Unpacking & Column Qualification.
• New Equipment introduction & Suite qualification.

Preparation ofQRM, change control, SOP preparation, Vendor and CFTfollow up for Introduction and qualification ofdownstream equipment’s
