Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Tamil Nadu is seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician with a B license to participate in testing, commissioning and operation of the 33 kV switchyard and switchgear. Responsibilities include safety compliance, installation, testing, reading wiring diagrams, and maintenance of substations, transformers, switchgear, LT/HT panels and DG sets.

0–3 years experience preferred; English and Tamil language skills required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or ITI Electrical is required.
• Languages: English, Tamil.
• 0–3 years working experience in Electrical Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Installation of electrical components and wiring.
• Testing and troubleshooting of electrical components, PLC & VFD.
• Reading & Interpretation wiring diagrams.
• Operation and Maintenance of Receiving yard/Substation.
• Operation and Maintenance of distribution transformers.
• Operation and Maintenance of breakers - SF6, VCB & ACB.
• Operation and Maintenance of Lighting arrestors, isolators, CT, PTs.
• Operation and Maintenance of LT, HT Panels.
• Operation and Maintenance of distribution networks - DBs, cables, busducts.
• Operation and Maintenance of DG.
• Maintaining records of operation and maintenance.
• Testing/commissioning of switch yard & switchgear.

Role Summary
