Job summary

Akku Cyber Security Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience for a full-time onsite role.

You will support the setup, maintenance and monitoring of CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud and on‑prem infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), deploy and troubleshoot applications across dev, staging, and production, and work with Docker, Kubernetes and scripting while collaborating with Development, QA and Security teams.

Qualifications

• Candidate with hands-on CI/CD experience.
• Proficient with Linux server administration.
• Comfortable with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Familiar with IaC and monitoring tools.
• Good scripting skills in Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and monitor CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage cloud and on‑prem infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Deploy and troubleshoot apps across dev, staging and prod.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate routine tasks with scripting.
• Monitor performance, logs and alerts; assist incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of CI/CD pipelines
• Assist in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-prem environments
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications across dev, staging, and production environments
• Work with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripting
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts, and help resolve incidents
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Security teams

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of Linux systems administration
• Hands‑on exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Docker; basic familiarity with Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Basic understanding of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus
