Role Overview

As a Junior Data Analyst at NVS Travel Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting daily analytics requirements, generating reports, and transforming data into actionable insights. You will work closely with the operations team to understand business needs, track key performance metrics, analyse trends, and present findings in a clear and structured format.

This role requires someone fast, accurate, highly disciplined, and exceptionally skilled in Excel or Google Sheets. If you enjoy working with data, improving processes, and contributing to business growth through analytics, you will thrive in this environment.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Analyse Business Data

• Understand core business KPIs and operational metrics.

• Track, filter, and interpret large datasets to identify patterns and gaps.

• Could you assist in data modelling and performance measurement?

2. Prepare Effective Reports

• Generate accurate, timely daily/weekly/monthly reports.

• Use Excel formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, and advanced sheet tools.

• Present insights in visually understandable formats such as charts and dashboards.

3. Support Decision-Making

• Provide meaningful intelligence that helps improve fleet efficiency, route planning, and service delivery.

• Highlight key trends and anomalies that require managerial attention.

4. Professional Communication

• Draft clear and professional email reports.

• Collaborate efficiently with internal teams and management.

5. Maintain Discipline & Work Ethic

• Exhibit punctuality and strong work discipline.

• Demonstrate responsibility, ownership, and a professional attitude in all tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics using Excel or Google Sheets.

• Expert-level Excel skills — including formulas, keyboard shortcuts, pivot tables, dashboards, and data cleaning.

• Strong written English and the ability to prepare polished, professional email communication.

• Ability to analyse data quickly and deliver meaningful insights on tight timelines.
