Job summary

Nomisma Healthcare Private Limited in Vadodara invites applications from B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry to join the R&D team. You will plan, execute, and monitor multi-step organic synthesis experiments at small to large scales, and maintain GLP-compliant records.

Fresh graduates are welcome. You will analyze samples using routine analytical techniques, help optimize routes for higher yield, assist in developing product specifications, and support documentation and safety compliance throughout

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor multi-step organic synthesis reactions at gram to kilogram scale.
• Monitor reaction progress using analytical techniques to ensure completion and desired performance.
• Evaluate and improve synthetic routes to enhance product yield, purity, and efficiency.
• Design and perform scale-up studies for lab reactions and support transfer to pilot/production scale.
• Evaluate and interpret analytical results (NMR, IV, GPC, water content) to confirm identity and quality.
• Finalize product specifications based on experimental results to ensure consistency.
• Maintain laboratory records, protocols, and reports with data integrity.
• Follow GLP and safety procedures during all R&D activities.
• Carry out other technical or operational responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Experimentation: Plan, execute, and monitor multi-step organic synthesis reactions at gram to kilogram scale while ensuring accuracy, safety, and process efficiency.
• Reaction Monitoring: Monitor reaction progress using analytical techniques to ensure completion and desired reaction performance.
• Process Optimization: Evaluate and improve synthetic routes to enhance product yield, purity, process efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Scale-Up Activities: Design and perform scale-up studies for successful laboratory reactions and support transfer of processes to pilot plant or production scale.
• Analytical Evaluation: Evaluate and interpret analytical testing including NMR, IV, GPC, water content, and related techniques to confirm product identity, quality, and structure.
• Specification Development: Finalize product specifications on experimental and analytical results to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Documentation: Maintain laboratory records, experimental protocols, technical reports, for proper tracking, monitoring, and data integrity.
• Compliance: Follow all laboratory safety procedures, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and company compliance requirements during all R&D activities.
• Additional Responsibilities: To Carry out any other technical or operational responsibilities assigned by the Group Leader or management.
• Analytical Submission: To Submit samples for analysis and to get analytical data for performed experiments.
