Job summary

Lernern is seeking a data-focused professional in Delhi to support business decisions through data preparation, dashboard development, and robust data management. You will build dashboards with Looker Studio/Power BI, manage data in cloud environments, and automate repetitive tasks to boost productivity.

The role emphasizes SQL/MySQL queries, Excel-based analysis, and collaboration with multiple teams to deliver data-driven insights and tools that enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of MySQL, including SQL queries, data extraction, and database management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and data management, along with PowerPoint for business presentations.
• Basic knowledge or exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon QuickSight for creating dashboards and visual reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation and Analysis: Collect, clean, organise, and analyse data in coordination with the Team Lead to support business operations and decision-making.
• Dashboard Development: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), business performance, and operational progress.
• Data Management: Organise and maintain the companys data room, files, and documentation to ensure information is accurate, secure, and easily accessible.
• Internal Tool Development: Develop and maintain smart internal tools using Google Workspace tools, cloud platforms, and MySQL to improve workflow efficiency.
• Database Management: Maintain databases, write basic SQL queries, and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, analyse trends, and present actionable insights to the management team.
• Process Automation: Identify repetitive tasks and implement automation solutions to reduce manual work and improve productivity.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with the Team Lead and other departments to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Data Accuracy and Quality: Validate datasets, identify discrepancies, and ensure the reliability of reports and dashboards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data management, reporting processes, and internal business tools.
