Diligent Automation in Palakkad, Kerala, is seeking a Junior Automation Engineer to join our hands-on team. You will work with senior engineers on PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and control panel design, gaining exposure to live client projects from day one.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Eng (2025/2026 grads welcome)
• Solid fundamentals in electrical/electronics circuits and control systems concepts
• Basic exposure to PLC/SCADA concepts through coursework, projects, or internships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of PLC and SCADA-based control systems
• Support control panel design and documentation (I/O lists, wiring diagrams, BOMs)
• Participate in on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior engineer guidance
• Learn and apply automation standards and best practices across client industries
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for ongoing projects
• Collaborate with the design and support teams to deliver projects on time

About the Role

As a Junior Automation Engineer, you'll work alongside our senior engineers on real client projects — from PLC programming and SCADA configuration to control panel design and system commissioning. • Understanding of industrial communication protocols
