Job summary

UpThink Edutech Services Private Limited, a Pune-based education solutions provider, seeks a Junior Associate to support online courses and student interactions. The role includes timely responses to queries, grading, and basic administrative tasks while maintaining course quality.

You will work remotely with a small, specialized team, contributing to LMS administration and student engagement. Candidates with a postgraduate biology background and strong MS Office/GSuite skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in Biology with relevant branches (Zoology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology).
• Good command of biology concepts and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace for data handling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely login to shifts for real-time or offline responses to student queries/submissions.
• Deliver clear explanations to aid students’ understanding via chat tutoring sessions.
• Support course administration on the LMS to help teachers and TAs run courses smoothly.
• Assist in grading student submissions accurately and provide constructive feedback within timelines.
• Contribute to the implementation of internal projects.

Job Description

As a Junior Associate, your role involves delivering timely and clear responses to student queries and supporting the team in fundamental aspects of online courses, such as grading and basic administrative tasks while maintaining the subject quality.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely login to shifts for real-time or offline responses to student queries/submissions
• Deliver clear and comprehensive explanations to aid students’ understanding via chat tutoring sessions offering high-quality student support
• Support the administration of courses by carrying out tasks relevant to the teaching platform (LMS) to help teachers and teaching assistants run the courses smoothly
• Assist in grading student submissions accurately, and offering constructive feedback in introductory courses within the set timelines
• Contribute to the implementation of internal projects
