Job summary

Studio Dtail is seeking a Junior Architect for a full-time, on-site position in Kozhikode. The role involves supporting design and development of architectural projects, preparing drawings and 3D models, and assisting in developing detailed design documentation.

You will collaborate with senior architects, coordinate with consultants, and ensure designs meet regulatory and client requirements. Responsibilities include design reviews participation, basic project coordination, tracking progress

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
• Understanding of integration between building systems and design elements.
• Basic exposure to Project Management, including organizing tasks and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design/visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with eligibility to pursue local licensure.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn in a collaborative studio environment.
• Excellent on-site communication with multidisciplinary teams and clients in Kozhikode.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Kozhikode. The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects, prepare drawings and 3D models, and assist in developing detailed design documentation. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with senior architects, coordinating with consultants, participating in design reviews, and ensuring that designs meet functional, regulatory, and client requirements. The role may also involve basic project coordination tasks, tracking progress against schedules, and contributing to presentations and reports.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and visualizations.
• Understanding of Integration between building systems and design elements, ensuring cohesive and practical solutions.
• Basic exposure to Project Management, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and supporting coordination with project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design and visualization applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification, with eligibility to pursue local professional licensure.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow design standards, and readiness to learn from feedback in a collaborative studio environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and clients in Kozhikode.
