Job summary

SxM Architects is a design-focused practice based in Lucknow. The Junior Architect will support the design and documentation of architectural and interior projects, preparing conceptual layouts and 3D models for client presentations.

You will coordinate with senior team members, assist in site visits and measurements, and contribute to design reviews while gaining exposure to multiple stages of the design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent.
• Strong foundation in architecture and design; contribute to concept development and drawings.
• Familiarity with project management principles including time management and documentation.
• Knowledge of design tools, digital workflows, and interoperability between software platforms.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar, plus Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong visual, spatial, and technical drawing skills with attention to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn and participate in on-site work in Lucknow, including site visits.

Role Description

The Junior Architect will support the design and documentation of architectural and interior projects, working closely with senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing conceptual layouts, assisting with detailed drawings, developing 3D models and presentations, and contributing to design reviews. The role also involves coordinating with consultants, updating project documentation, and assisting in site visits, measurements, and basic supervision tasks in Lucknow. This is a full-time, on-site position based at the SxM Architects office in Lucknow, requiring regular collaboration with the design team and participation in client-facing activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to concept development and detailed drawings.
• Understanding of Project Management principles, including time management, task coordination, and organized documentation.
• Basic familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, digital workflows, and interoperability between software platforms.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong visual, spatial, and technical drawing skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
