Job summary

Next Angle Design Studio, a growing architectural and interior design firm in Chennai, seeks a Junior Architect to contribute to residential, commercial and industrial projects.

You will prepare 2D plans and 3D models, develop design concepts, and coordinate with clients, vendors and contractors. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome, with travel for site visits within Chennai.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome with a strong portfolio.
• Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) required.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred for Junior Architect.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, 2D plans, 3D models and presentation layouts.
• Develop design concepts based on client requirements.
• Visit project sites for measurements, inspections and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors and consultants.
• Attend client meetings and assist in project discussions.
• Follow up with project leads and support business development activities.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications and project documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed within timelines and design standards.

Next Angle Design Studio is a growing architectural and interior design firm specializing in innovative residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We are looking for a passionate Junior Architect to join our team and contribute to exciting design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings, 2D plans, 3D models, and presentation layouts.
• Develop design concepts based on client requirements.
• Visit project sites for measurements, inspections, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Attend client meetings and assist in project discussions.
• Follow up with project leads and support business development activities.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and project documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed within timelines and design standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• 0–2 years of experience (Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion/Enscape, V-Ray, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Revit is an added advantage.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for site visits within Chennai.
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
