The Opportunity
We are looking for a Junior AI Engineer to help us build useful software and AI-powered applications that solve practical problems for clients and users.
Strong programming fundamentals, curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn quickly are essential for this role.
You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to build application features, integrations, automation tools, and AI-assisted workflows.
You will get hands-on experience taking ideas from early prototypes to working software used by real people.
The role is designed for someone early in their engineering career who wants to learn by building, experimenting, receiving feedback, and taking increasing ownership over time.
What You'll Do
- Develop application features, integrations, and automation workflows.
- Build prototypes to test ideas and technical approaches.
- Work with APIs, databases, and AI models to build useful product experiences.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to help write, understand, debug, and test code.
- Test your work, identify problems, and improve solutions based on feedback.
- Learn how applications are deployed, monitored, and maintained in production.
- Investigate technical problems using documentation, experimentation, and available tools.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and build practical solutions.
- Write clear, understandable code and be able to explain how your solution works.
- Take responsibility for assigned work and communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly.
To Qualify for the Role, You Should Have
- Good logical reasoning and programming fundamentals.
- Ability to write, understand, and debug code in at least one programming language.
- Experience building software through personal projects, college projects, internships, freelance work, open-source contributions, or professional work.
- Some experience using AI tools for coding, learning, debugging, research, or building applications.
- Basic familiarity with concepts such as APIs, databases, Git/version control, and software testing.
- Comfort learning from documentation and experimenting when you do not immediately know the answer.
- Ability to understand and explain the code you write, including code developed with AI assistance.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and care for the end-user experience.
What We Look For
We look for people who demonstrate:
- Curiosity: You enjoy understanding how things work.
- Initiative: When you encounter something unfamiliar, you try to figure it out.
- Perseverance: You are willing to stay with difficult problems instead of giving up quickly.
- Sincerity: You are dependable, communicate openly, and care about doing good work.
- Learning ability: You are comfortable learning, unlearning, and relearning as technology changes.
- Ownership: You take responsibility for your work and want to see it actually used.
- Effort: You are willing to put in the work required to improve your craft.
Technologies and Tools
The technologies we use vary depending on the project.
Familiarity with any of them is useful, and you will have opportunities to learn others on the job.
- Application Development: JavaScript, Python, React, React Native, Flutter, Django, Node.js.
- Databases and Data Tools: PostgreSQL, MySQL, pgvector.
- AI and Agents: Vercel AI SDK, Pydantic AI, LLM provider SDKs (OpenAI, Anthropic), agentic browsers.
- AI-Assisted Development: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to build software that is used by real clients and users.
- Hands-on experience across application development, data, automation, and AI.
- Close feedback and mentorship from experienced team members.
- Increasing ownership as your skills develop.
- A growth path into deeper areas of AI engineering, including model customization, evaluation, agent infrastructure, and AI application architecture.
- Exposure to international product and technology projects.
- A team that uses AI tools every day while continuing to care deeply about engineering fundamentals and software quality.
Who Will Thrive Here
The tools we use today will not be the tools we use forever. AI and software development are evolving quickly, and we expect our engineers to evolve with them.
We are therefore not looking for someone who already knows everything.
We are looking for someone who is curious, sincere, persistent, willing to work hard, and excited to keep learning.
Bring us strong fundamentals, the willingness to figure things out, and evidence that you enjoy building things.
Well help you with the rest.
