Job summary

SKF Group in Pune seeks a Junior Accountant P2P to manage accounts payable and related clerical duties. You will process invoices across PO and non-PO types and ensure timely payments, while maintaining vendor records and supporting month-end activities.

The role requires 3–6 years of AP or general accounting experience, with proficiency in SAP or similar ERP tools and a Commerce background. Based in Pune, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures.

• Experience with GST reconciliation and TDS processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, review and verify invoices; code and match invoices for payment.
• Process invoices (PO/Non-PO/Imports) using SAP/SARA/MAPICS/ARIBA for INDIA location.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments; run checks as needed.
• Post transactions to journals and ledgers; reconcile accounts payable.
• Monitor payments; resolve discrepancies and inquiries from vendors.
• Maintain vendor files and assist with month-end closing and audits.

Job Title: Junior Accountant P2P

Reports to: Team Manager P2P

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Location: Pune

Purpose

Perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Main Job Tasks, Duties And Responsibilities

Assemble, review and verify invoices received, flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices sort, code and match invoices set invoices up for payment

• Processing various types of Invoices PO, Non-PO, Imports on various (SAP / SARA/ MAPICS/ ARIBA) for INDIA location
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments prepare and perform check runs
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Prepare analysis of accounts monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Produce monthly reports assist with month end closing (Should be ready to Strech for business requirement)
• Provide supporting documentation for audits & maintain accurate historical records
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
• Should well aware about GST Reconciliation & TDS

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of accounts payable
