Job summary

Shivatrade Impex in Vadodara is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate records, and assist with GST, TDS, banking and statutory compliance.

Experience in Tally and export-import accounting will be preferred; the role requires 2 to 7 years of relevant work and a B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter qualification. Immediate joining preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter with 2–7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS required; familiarity with export-import accounting is a plus.
• Experience in trading/export-import/manufacturing companies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally or other accounting software.
• Handle purchase and sales invoices, vouchers, and expense entries.
• Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor payment transactions.
• Assist in GST returns, TDS calculations, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain vendor and customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist in monthly closing, financial reporting, and audit documentation.
• Maintain proper records of invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments, banks, auditors, and consultants.
• Support export-import documentation and related accounting activities.
