Position: Junior Accountant

Industry: Marble & Granite Manufacturing / Trading Department: Accounts & Finance Reporting To: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations in the marble industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts, assisting with GST compliance, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records.
• Prepare sales and purchase invoices, vouchers, and payment entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash books, and ledgers.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Maintain stock and inventory records in coordination with the store department.
• Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
• Prepare daily cash reports, expense statements, and MIS reports.
• Assist in monthly and annual account closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records and invoices.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal departments as required.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.

Required Skills
