Job summary

ESP Engineered is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant in Kozhikode, Kerala. The selected candidate will handle day-to-day accounting, manage entries and invoices using Zoho Books, assist with GST and TDS filings, and maintain financial records. Ideal applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or related fields and must have knowledge in Zoho Books. We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting processes, proficiency in Zoho Books, and prior experience working in a CA firm will be given preference.

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
• Manage entries, invoices, receipts, and payment records in Zoho Books
• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain financial records
• Assist in GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Maintain purchase and sales registers accurately
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Coordinate with auditors and finance teams when required
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Knowledge and working experience in Zoho Books is mandatory
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
