Job summary

Spectra Technovision (India) Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a manual tester to ensure quality across web and mobile applications. You will execute sanity, regression, and functional tests, log defects, and verify fixes in an Agile environment.

Candidates should be familiar with SDLC/STLC, GitLab/Jira, API testing with Postman, SQL basics, and have exposure to Playwright and AI-assisted testing tools.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of manual testing and test design.
• Awareness of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Understanding of defect life cycle and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Log defects in JIRA and track until closure.
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team discussions.
• Perform basic API testing using Postman and SQL validation.
• Learn and apply Playwright automation scripts.
• Use AI tools to assist test generation and analysis.

Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.

Execute sanity, smoke, regression, and functional test cases.

Log and track defects using JIRA.

Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective).

Perform basic API testing using Postman.

Execute basic SQL queries for data validation.

Learn and execute Playwright automation scripts.

Use AI tools responsibly for test case generation, bug documentation, and test analysis.
