Job summary

Zimperium is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to build and maintain automation frameworks, perform vulnerability assessments, and test Mobile Threat Defense applications and SDKs. You will collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality, secure releases from our Bangalore-based team.

The role requires strong Java and Selenium WebDriver skills, API testing basics, SQL knowledge, and experience with Agile practices and Jira.

Qualifications

To reinforce our team of experts, we are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 1-3 years of experience who views security as 'understanding how systems truly work.' This role requires a unique blend of automation expertise and a security analyst mindset. You will build and maintain automation frameworks, perform vulnerability assessments, conduct Mobile threat defense Application and SDK testing, and work closely with developers to ensure high-quality, secure software releases.

Location: India (Bangalore Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing automated test scripts and frameworks
• Execute manual and automated test cases for Web and API applications to support sprint goals
• Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track software defects in Jira
• Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning) and contribute to test documentation
• Assist in integrating automated tests into TestOps under guidanceCommunicate testing progress and blockers to team members clearly
• Learn and adopt new testing tools and methodologies as required by the project

Minimum Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in software testing and automation
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Basic knowledge of API testing (e.g., REST Assured or Postman)
• Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control
