Job summary

UST is seeking Software Engineers with a background in lending/underwriting to work with Experian PowerCurve Origination (PCO) and PowerCurve Strategy Management (PCSM). You will develop, integrate, test, and support credit decisioning solutions, write SQL queries, and contribute to SDLC activities.

The role emphasizes API work, data processing, and debugging, with a focus on delivering reliable lending technology and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software development/engineering experience.
• Strong SQL/database knowledge.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and data processing.
• Good debugging and problem solving skills.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile development.
• Understanding of lending, credit, underwriting.
• Experience with PCO or PCSM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain software components for lending and credit decisioning applications.
• Work on APIs, integrations, data flows, and application interfaces.
• Develop and support credit/underwriting decisioning solutions and strategies.
• Write SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Debug and resolve application and production issues; perform tests.
• Participate in code reviews, deployment, and SDLC activities.
• Apply lending and underwriting domain knowledge to technical solutions.
• Collaborate with PCO and PCSM as part of the technology stack.

• Experience with decision engines or business rules
